It says scientists from the University of Sydney, Australia, after studying data from about 95,000 men who were part of an even larger health study. During the follow-up period expired the men who said they had problems with erections significantly higher risk of hospitalization for different types of heart problems - no matter how serious erection problems were. Compared with men without these problems, they had a higher risk of heart attack, heart failure, vascular disease and problems with the heart's electrical conductivity. To top it all, they had also a greater risk of dying from any cause.
The study, which is the largest of its kind, presented in PLOs Medicine Today.
